Trinity Robotics Automation showcases Trinity AI, built with Intrinsic Intelligence. Designed specifically for high-mix CNC manufacturing, Trinity AI is intended to improve flexibility and simplicity of robotic machine tending.
Unlike traditional robotic automation that requires extensive programming and repeatable production runs, Trinity AI leverages AI capabilities, developer tools and an operating system from Intrinsic, an AI Robotics Group at Google, to adapt to changing parts, setups and production requirements. By combining autonomous motion planning, advanced vision technology and intuitive user interfaces, the system is designed to enable manufacturers to automate CNC machine tending without robot programming expertise.
Using 3D CAD geometry, Trinity AI understands part shape and size to automatically generate robot paths while managing collision avoidance and safe part handling. Integrated perception technology allows the system to identify part locations and adjust to real-world conditions, creating a more adaptable approach to CNC automation.
Built for manufacturers managing frequent changeovers, smaller batch sizes and labor constraints, Trinity AI can increase spindle utilization, extend production hours and maximize existing machine tool investments. The compact system features a six-axis robot, quick-change grippers and a user-friendly interface intended to simplify automation adoption on the shop floor.
