In this video, we have seen image maps in html. So image mapping is a technique in html that allow us to make a clickable area within an image, we use map tag for mapping the image. When an user clicks on a particular area, it can trigger a predefined action such as linking to another page, opening popup etc. Then area tag defines an area inside an image map. It is always nested inside a map tag.
