eCloudvalley Technology Sdn Bhd has officially launched its AI Centre of Excellence (AI COE), a strategic initiative that positions Malaysia as a key hub for the company’s regional AI innovation and enterprise transformation efforts. The launch marks a significant step in eCloudvalley’s plan to elevate AI adoption across the Asia Pacific region and establish itself as a leader in AI-driven cloud modernization by 2026.
“The launch of our AI Centre of Excellence is a proud moment for the Malaysia team. It reflects the dedication our people have consistently demonstrated, and it reinforces Malaysia’s readiness to contribute meaningfully to the region’s AI landscape. Most importantly, this COE allows us to better support our customers by giving them access to practical, proven, and scalable AI solutions,” said Sandy Woo, Country Director of eCloudvalley Technology Sdn Bhd.
The launch of the Malaysia AI COE builds on strong momentum from eCloudvalley Digital Technology Co. Ltd in Taiwan, which earlier deployed a suite of internally developed AI Agents across key operational teams, including the MSP AI Agent for cloud incident automation, the MSSP AI Agent for security alert triage, and the KYC AI Agent for identity verification. Early results demonstrated significant efficiencies: reducing incident analysis time from 25 minutes to 5, automating 45 percent of manual ticket creation, and accelerating security alert processing by more than 10 times.
“These AI Agents act as an organization’s N+1 employee, a digital teammate that cuts hidden labour costs while enabling higher-value work,” said Wen-Hua Wang, Head of Product. “They help enterprises overcome workflow complexity and talent gaps in a scalable way.”
To fast-track its AI roadmap, eCloudvalley Technology Sdn Bhd has also formed a dedicated AI Business Unit. This division will productize AI Agent solutions, expand multi-cloud AI capability through the Atlas 2.0 ecosystem, and lead innovation across engineering, data, and cloud teams, forming the backbone of eCloudvalley’s APAC AI strategy and go-to-market execution.
“Malaysia’s SMEs are at a turning point where AI will shape future competitiveness,” said Dr. Chin Chee Seong, President of the SME Association of Malaysia. “The launch of eCloudvalley’s AI Centre of Excellence is timely, offering practical capabilities that help SMEs modernize faster, operate more efficiently and compete regionally. We welcome efforts that enable businesses to adopt AI with confidence and long-term sustainability.”
“The AI COE is not just a showcase—it is a ready-to-engage platform for Malaysian enterprises,” said Sandy. “Organizations can now leverage eCloudvalley’s proven AI Agents, tested in high-volume production environments, to accelerate their AI adoption with lower risk and faster ROI. Whether it is automating operations, strengthening cybersecurity, reducing manual workload or modernizing cloud environments, businesses can start immediately with validated AI frameworks and hands-on guidance. With AI becoming the new engine of competitiveness, early adopters will gain a measurable advantage—and eCloudvalley stands ready to help Malaysian companies lead this transformation today.”
